Obverse: In center is involved scene consisting of a variety of City Seal (similar to above reverse); to l. of oval shield of Seal is seated an early settler, scythe in r. hand, l. arm resting on oval; to r. of oval shield is a seated Indian; above all, around Bi-Centennial, Albany, N. Y.; below all July 22, 1886.; beaded border.
Reverse: Within closed wreath, July 22, 1686. / scroll / Bi-Centennial / of Charter / of the City. / Albany, N. Y. / July 19-22, / 1886.; beaded border.
